is this a string or is this unreal

reality or just what I feel

wishing for what things can still be

something to come from this empty

hoping this is what is in here

so what is it that I should fear

the slight tug and upward lift

starts the swell of the rift

the growing becomes a rope

strong enough to give me hope

once the strength as arrived

knowing now I will  survive

dim light seems to be a top

the pulling never seems to stop

forever he will grab and pull  

until I can see who is this fool

the final days for me are near

his voice smoothing to my ears

and in the end I feel his hand

to show me this promise land

now I am here or am I there

this darkness is still in the air

he looks at me as my life ends

the mirror of me makes amends
